Planning Portals

Here we will show you how to use PSE to source properties via a planning property search. This is great if, for example, you wish to contact owners who have just had planning permission granted or change of use from commercial to residential. You could offer your services as a JV partner, buyer or renovation expertise. Opportunities are limited by your imagination. You will be able to use this search tool on over two-thirds of the UK local authorities. The Following Councils are currently supported:

You will be able to select which planning portal you would like to apply your search criteria. As with each portal, the filters are different, and so each time a portal ‘interface’ is loaded into PSE from the drop-down, you will notice the filters will change slightly. It simply varies from Council to Council.

Searching Planning Portals

Click ‘Execute’ and see the results pour in. You can then use the ‘Ctrl’ key and select the properties of interest to yourself.

Click ‘Send’ and you can select from your pre-made templates, the letter you wish to send. If you desire, here you can edit any of the fields and also send in ‘test’ mode to ensure Stannp will receive the addresses correctly.

This is just one of many uses of PSE. All be it an incredibly useful one.
